Alex Alderman helps faculty create great learning experiences.
Trained as a classicist, he taught a broad range of language, literature, and interdisciplinary courses at colleges across the country. Over time, he developed an interest in using technology to extend the pedagogical methods of liberal arts education and adapt them to new contexts. So, after finishing his doctoral work on ancient Greek literature, he completed a master’s degree in educational technology and began working as an instructional designer.
At Kenyon, he hosts workshops on course design, facilitates pedagogical projects, and provides support for faculty use of the learning management system and other new technologies.
