In the middle of it all
Some colleges border a small town. Others are situated within a large town. Not at Kenyon, where the village of Gambier is located right in the middle of campus. This is by design. Students care about what happens here because they live here — this is their post office, their market, their bookstore, their coffee shop.
With a population of 2,450 sprinkled across less than one square mile, Gambier’s location off the beaten path is a vital part of who we are and shapes the way we live and learn in this small, wide-open space.
