During our faculty retreat in the summer of 2010, Kenyon faculty said that they want to talk more about teaching and learning. They used phrases like "mission critical" to describe the formal commitment of time and resources to their ongoing development as teachers. The Center for Innovative Pedagogy is a response to that desire.
