On May 9, 2016, President Sean Decatur announced the creation of a steering committee to oversee the review of Kenyon's Sexual Misconduct and Harassment Policy: Title IX, VAWA, Title VII, procedures and practices.
The committee will select professionals to conduct a review, help to define and shape the review process and communicate findings to the broader community.
The group will be co-chaired by Ruth Fisher P’18 and Ted Mason P'10. It will include representation from among the faculty, staff, students and an additional trustee.

- Ruth Fisher P'18, a member of the Kenyon College Board of Trustees (co-chair)
- Ted Mason P'10, associate provost and professor of English (co-chair)
- Judy Holdener, professor of mathematics
- Jesse Matz, professor of English
- Meredith Bonham '92, vice president of student affairs
- Susan Morse, chief of staff
- Olivia Cucinotta '18
- Marshall Chapin '94, a member of the Kenyon College Board of Trustees
The committee will also have advice and support from Gina Maisto Smith P'17, an attorney and national expert on college and university sexual-misconduct policies.
