Congratulations: you are now joining the nearly 200 tenure track and visiting faculty of Kenyon College. And we are so glad to have you. It won’t be long until we see you on campus: walking down Middle Path, having coffee at Wiggin Street Café, or picking up mail at the Post Office. Please stop by the Provost’s Office to pick up your keys or just to say hello when you get into town and get settled. Kenyon supports faculty through a variety of programs organized not only by the Provost’s Office, but also by the Center for Innovative Pedagogy and the Office of Sponsored Faculty Research. The first of these is New Faculty Orientation.
New Faculty Orientation: August 19-22, 2024
Information forthcoming.
Development Workshops Throughout the Year
The programs we offer for new faculty throughout the year include: “The Five Year Plan?: A Career Planning Workshop,” “Thinking about Reviews,” “How to Read Course Evaluations,” “Balancing the Workload” and “Visiting Faculty and Support for the Job Search.”
Topics and dates for 2024-2025 will be forthcoming.
