Junior Leaves
All faculty members planning a junior leave are to schedule a meeting to discuss your junior leave plan with the provost and with your department chair.
Scheduling these appointments before the start of classes is encouraged if scheduling permits. Please contact Amy Quinlivan to set up a meeting time. If you have questions regarding your junior leave, please contact Jalene Fox.
Sabbatical Leaves
After returning from a sabbatical leave, the faculty member must submit a report to the Provost by Oct. 1 of each year, summarizing the activities undertaken during the leave. The member is also encouraged to make a public presentation of the results or benefits of the leave (e.g., by lecture, exhibit, or performance). Acceptance of a sabbatical leave carries with it the obligation to return for service at the College. Please submit your Sabbatical Report by Oct. 1 as an email attachment to Jalene Fox.
