The Writing Center offers you collaboration and support from a peer writing tutor. We meet in-person and online both individually and in groups with writers to provide assistance for any type of writing, in any discipline (even those outside of academia), at any stage of the writing process. Abby Warshauer

(she/her) An undeclared major with interests in political science, French, international and environmental studies, Abby can assist writers with analytical and research essays. Abby also can assist with essays in French and encourage brainstorming for modern languages and literatures assignments more generally. Andreas Chenvainu

Basil Strickland

(she/her) A double major in neuroscience and psychology, Basil specializes in screenwriting, sociology, psychology and reflective writing, and she enjoys working with writers on their academic enrichment.

Beshoy

(he/him) An economics and math major, Beshoy specializes in physics, economics, astronomy, Arabic, speeches and oral presentations. He was previously a liaison for Professor Leatherman's STAT 106 (you can still get his support in STATS courses) and for Professor An's ECON 400 (Poverty in Developing Countries).

Celeste Cohen

(she/her) A senior art history major and English minor, Celeste is excited to help you with research and creative assignments alike, whether you need to tighten up a few sentences or think through the structure of a larger project.

Chace Correll

(she/her) An English and psychology double major, Chace likes when writers move outside of their comfort zone to explore new writing processes. Abroad for the 2024-25 academic year.

Emma Rice

(she/her) As an English major and Spanish minor with a certificate in education (through Capital University), Emma is eager to help students with writing and reading skills in English and Spanish. Abroad for the 2024-2025 year.

Er (Marian) Yue

(she/her) An English major with a Greek minor, Marian has experience working with writers in those disciplines as well as Art History. She particularly enjoys working on analytical and/or argumentative writing and close reading. She is also a Kenyon Writes partner. (she/her) An English major, Erin enjoys supporting writers in a variety of areas including American studies, drama and theatre, history and screenwriting as well as in her own discipline.

Hannah Long

(she/her) Hannah is a English major with a biology minor and a gender and sexuality studies (GSS) concentration. In addition to helping with writing in these subjects, Hannah also likes works that are multidisciplinary in nature.

Silvia Carias-Centeno

(she/her) Silvia loves aiding in assignments centering social topics across disciplines. From brainstorming ideas, or learning how to make an essay with a strong thesis and effective organization, to improving a fleshed-out draft, Silvia finds joy in being a writing center tutor! Silvia’s main goal is to build and improve writing skills, but also the writer’s confidence in their work.
