There are many opportunities for Kenyon's undergraduates to do research in mathematics. Some students take independent studies to pursue independent projects and collaborative work with faculty.
Successful juniors and seniors sometimes enroll in the Honors Program in Mathematics to do in-depth work in an area of interest. Kenyon's Summer Science Scholar Program provides financial support to undergraduates who want to work on research projects in the summer. Students participating in the SSS program work in collaboration with a faculty mentor for 8 to 10 weeks.
