How It Works
By linking opportunities thematically, Kenyon Keys makes it easy to find the people and programs, on and off campus, that can help you turn your interests into experience and your passions into purpose. Activities are open to everyone and may be an especially good way for first-years and sophomores to explore all that Kenyon has to offer. There is no need to sign up or commit to a Key to participate — simply watch your email and Kenyon’s event calendars for opportunities keyed to themes that interest you.

Kenyon Keys, like a Kenyon education, is cross-cutting by design. At Kenyon, you’ll find faculty eager to reach across disciplines and beyond campus in their teaching and research. Kenyon Keys supports these interests with grants from the President’s Innovation Fund.

Kenyon Keys opens you to experiences that stretch and test you — research and fieldwork, internships and externships, opportunities in the local community and farther afield. Kenyon offers generous funding for summer research and internships, with special opportunities for Keys-themed projects.

Kenyon Keys connects you to students, faculty and alumni with shared interests, opening wide the possibilities that come from being part of a community committed to being a force for good. The inaugural cohort of Keys Scholars will be selected from applicants in the 2027 incoming class, each receiving a $XX,000 annual scholarship and special engagement opportunities.
