Amy joined the staff of Kenyon College in September 2004 and began working with the Philander Chase Conservancy in 2013. While assisting with all aspects of the work of the conservancy, Amy’s primary focus was the the creation and management of Kokosing Nature Preserve, central Ohio's first and only conservation burial ground offering a green burial option in a beautiful, natural setting. Amy also took a leadership role in the conservancy’s successful application for accreditation by the Land Trust Accreditation Commission in 2022. She stepped into the role of acting director of the conservancy in January 2024 and was appointed to the director role in June 2024.

Amy earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from Alma College and a graduate degree in health administration from The Ohio State University. She and her husband, Chris, live in Mount Vernon with their two children.
