Jill Parak is a family nurse practitioner who works in college health and family practice. Her previous experience is in emergency medicine as a staff nurse for five years and then a nurse practitioner for ten years. After having a great experience during one of her master’s program clinical rotations at Kenyon College, she is pleased to continue caring for young adults. She enjoys health promotion and treating acute illnesses. She completed a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2002 at Wayne State University and a master’s degree with family practice nurse practitioner certification in 2007 at The Ohio State University. Outside of work, she enjoys listening to live music and doing anything outdoors with her husband and young daughter. In 2013 she spent a summer hiking, biking and kayaking her way through state and national parks out west. These days her adventures are often closer to home, gardening, running and exploring Columbus metroparks.
