Orientation at a Glance

Saturday, Aug. 23

Welcome to Kenyon! Saturday's schedule will include New Student Check-In and the Fall Orientation Kick-Off, information about Kenyon support services, meetings with your Orientation Group and Community Advisors, and a community-building event in the evening.

Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025

Opening Convocation welcomes new students, followed by the New Student Sing; families are welcome and encouraged to attend before departing the campus

Monday, Aug. 25 - Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025

Orientation programming for students continues including Orientation Group information sessions, course registration support, academic department presentation

Thursday, Aug. 28

Classes begin.

Friday, Aug. 29

International Student Early Arrival

International Pre-Orientation

International Pre-Orientation (Pre-O) is hosted by the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) for new international students. New F-1 and other visa holding international students are required to attend International Pre-O. Domestic students who reside abroad and U.S. Permanent Residents are invited to attend International Pre-O and should contact the CGE (cge@kenyon.edu) if they plan to attend.
