Schedule for Spring 2024
All programs will take place from 12:10 - 1 p.m. in the Leach Dining Room in Peirce Hall. Lunch is provided for in-person attendees. Students, faculty and staff are all welcome to attend. Please register in advance.
- Friday, Feb. 2: Supporting Others and Ourselves During Conflict
Internal and external conflict is a normal and expected part of life. This program will explore what we find helpful when we are in conflict, in order to identify how best we can support others and ourselves. - Friday, Mar. 1: The (Not-so) Merry Go-round of Conflict
It is difficult to see things clearly when we’re in the midst of a dispute. In the book "Conflict Management Coaching by Cinnie Noble," the author uses "The (Not-so) Merry Go-round of Conflict" as a method for deconstructing the elements of a conflict to increase self-awareness and explore mutuality. Attendees will learn about this model and get a chance to apply it to a personal situation. - Friday, Apr. 5: What to Do After the Conflict
The after effects of spoken, or even unspoken, conflict can be very awkward and uncomfortable. This program will explore what this experience can feel like and ideas for making things better.
