Operations Division

Kenyon’s 1,000-acre campus and its 125 historic and contemporary buildings are maintained by the skilled trades, custodial and grounds staff that comprise the maintenance department. A team of construction managers supervise the purposeful development of Kenyon’s campus, in keeping with the Campus Master Plan (PDF). Led by the Vice President for Facilities, Planning and Sustainability Ian Smith, the division seeks to employ sustainable practices where possible, including design processes that result in buildings that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout their lifecycle.
