Kenyon College Dance, Drama & Cinema Club (KCDC) presents a production of "Godspell," music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and directed by Jonathan Tazewell, the Thomas S. 3 - 4 p.m. The 2024 Presidential Election, the Constitution and the Future of Politics

​​Join the Center for the Study of American Democracy for a lecture by the University of North Carolina’s Burton Craige Distinguished Professor of Jurisprudence Michael Gerhardt. A scholar of constitutional law and a biographer of presidents, most recently Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Gerhardt will discuss what is at stake for the Constitution in the November 2024 elections. 4:15 - 6 p.m. Summer Research Poster Session

7 p.m. Kokosingers Concert

The Kokosingers, who get their moniker from the beautiful Kokosing River, return with their annual fall concert! Since 1965, the Kokes have been on campus providing dulcet tones and marvelous melodies to the Kenyon community. This khaki-clad chorus is happier than ever to bring these very same tones and melodies to the lovely parents of Kenyon College. Doors to Rosse Hall open at 6:45 p.m., and the concert lasts 45 minutes to an hour. Come early; it can fill up! Rosse Hall

8 - 9 a.m. Imagine the Possibilities 5K and 1-Mile Run/Walk

Join Habitat for Humanity of Knox County and the Knox Board of Developmental Disabilities for their annual "Imagine the Possibilities 5K and 1-Mile Run/Walk." A fun time for the whole family! The fully accessible race routes offer a beautiful tour of Gambier and the Kokosing Gap Trail. Pre-register here or register the day of the run/walk beginning at 8 a.m. Gambier Community Center, 115 Meadow Lane

10 - 10:30 a.m. Football Team Walk

Meet at the Middle Path Gates to cheer on the football team as they make their traditional walk to the field prior to playing Wittenberg at 1 p.m. Start at Middle Path Gates, end at the Lowry Center

Join the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for a welcoming luncheon that will bring together students, faculty, staff and visiting families to celebrate and embrace the diversity of our campus community. 4 p.m. In Memoriam: A Walking Tour of Kenyon’s Latin and Greek Inscriptions

What can Kenyon’s Latin and Greek inscriptions tell us about the College’s two-hundred-year history? Join us for a one-hour walking tour in which we will tell the tales of these fascinating texts from the past that seek to speak to us in the present. Part of a project commemorating Kenyon’s bicentennial, the tour will be led by Professor of Classics Adam Serfass and two classics majors, Ellis Copley ’25 and Chiara Nevard ’25. Meet at the College Gates

4:30 - 6:30p.m. Campfire and Pumpkin Patch at Kenyon Farm

Join us at the Kenyon Farm for some fall fun. We'll have a campfire with s'mores, a pumpkin patch where you can pick a free pumpkin (and purchase additional pumpkins!), photo opportunities and more.   • Kokosing Nature Preserve is a conservation burial ground located at 10620 Quarry Chapel Road. The preserve is open every day from dawn to dusk and offers a beautiful park-like setting with mowed walking paths. Learn more at kenyon.edu/knp.
