Welcome Receptions

Congratulations on becoming part of the Kenyon College family!

We can’t wait to welcome your student to the Hill in August. To help you get to know the College and meet some fellow Kenyon families, we’re offering a mix of in-person and virtual welcome receptions just for you, hosted by the parent and alumni volunteer leaders and members of the Kenyon Parents Council.

The in-person events will be held in or around these cities:

Students are encouraged to attend in-person events with their families, but please note the virtual sessions are intended just for parents and guardians. Your student(s) will receive all of this information, including details on student-focused virtual events from The First Year Experience Office. Please ask your student to watch their email for information soon.

Virtual Receptions

Our virtual receptions will include three general sessions for parents and at least three general sessions for students. We will also host sessions for families of international students, parents of underrepresented students, and an underrepresented student session. Please feel free to register for the reception that best fits your interest.

Student Only Zoom Sessions

Beginning Wednesday, June 14, and continuing through Monday, July 17, you will have the opportunity to connect virtually one-on-one and in small groups with other students to explore co-curricular activities and academic interests and learn more about what’s next in your Kenyon adventure.
