The mission of the Office for Sponsored Faculty Projects is to facilitate an active culture of grantsmanship at Kenyon. The OSFP will proactively seek opportunities to support priority institutional projects and programs defined by senior leadership, faculty research, and the faculty leave program. The office, with the support of the Assistant Controller, also seeks to simplify and clarify the grant process.
Kenyon encourages its faculty members to be active and creative within their disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields and we encourage faculty to apply for externally funded grants and fellowships to support research, creative work, and scholarly activities. The Office for Sponsored Faculty Projects (OSFP) will discuss proposal ideas, assist faculty in identifying possible funding sources, and will read, help edit, compile, and submit proposals for individual grants and fellowships. Most U.S. government grants for individuals are submitted through the OSFP.
