This pathway focuses on exploration and application in the interdisciplinary fields of health, medicine, and wellness. Coursework on topics like human physiology, anthropology of food, bioethics, and the global history of HIV/AIDS provides a foundation that students can apply to community partnerships, internships, volunteer work, and future careers in medicine and public health. Among many others, this pathway facilitates opportunities at Knox Community Hospital, Knox Public Health department, training with faculty and health nonprofits conducting new research, and study abroad programs on public health based in Denmark and Sweden.
