This Pathway is designed to allow students to grapple with the complex interconnections of natural and human systems. Programs and classes will employ hands-on, experiential activities in local ecosystems and the Kenyon Green Centers to instill a sense of place and address the complex relationship of individuals and the local environment. Students will explore issues in biodiversity, energy use, consumption, and climate. In so doing, they will learn to apply diverse ways of knowing, critically examine data, and the trade-offs inherent in environmental decision-making.
