The Center for the Study of American Democracy brings together the Kenyon community to debate the issues of today—no matter how controversial—through nonpartisan and civil discourse. The center also supports internships in Washington, D.C., and makes teaching and research opportunities possible for students and faculty.

The discipline of digital humanities encourages students to imagine new avenues of research by identifying unexplored datasets of text, image and sound and to embrace new computational frameworks.

Science and nature writing at Kenyon empowers students to become skilled storytellers who can communicate complex scientific issues to a general audience. Students learn to write artfully, creatively, and with precision about the natural world.
