The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion also coordinates programming to educate the campus community about various cultures, identities and social justice movements. Major programs include Latinx Heritage Month from mid-September to mid-October, LGBTQ+ History Month in October, Indigenous Heritage Month in November, Black History Month in February, Women’s History Month in March, and Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month in April.

In addition to regularly partnering with faculty, student organizations, other departments, and community partners, the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion works closely with their three program houses for the aforementioned programs in addition to other days and weeks of significance, including some of the following: National Coming Out Day; Ace Week; Trans Day of Remembrance/Resilience; World AIDS Day; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; Aro Week; LGBTQ+ Health Awareness Week; Trans Day of Visibility; and more.
