Harassment Policy Statement

Kenyon College intends to provide a work environment that is pleasant, healthful, comfortable and free from intimidation, hostility or other offenses which might interfere with work performance. Harassment of any sort - verbal, physical, visual, sexual - will not be tolerated. See Title IX Policy. Kenyon College is committed to free expression, free inquiry, honesty, tolerance and respect for the rights and dignity of others. Harassment is a very serious offense that can result in the imposition of severe disciplinary measures. Harassment is offensive to the principles of appropriate discourse and civil conduct. Indeed, it is a form of persecution that can cause extreme anguish and humiliation. It is unacceptable under any circumstances and will not be tolerated.
